First Example of Front Cover

 

This is the finished mock-up which I completed using Photoshop. I included different fonts, colours and shapes and went through a lot of editing to create the magazine. I took a lot of inspiration from NME and followed their house style.

Good Examples

These are some examples of NME which i will model my first mock-up of my front cover. I want a three or four piece on my front cover and these are some different editions that are good examples.

The positioning and imposition as well as the contrast in the black and white main image with the red font works well and stands out. The text, although it is simplistic its still simplistic and connotes originality.

 

Again, all four band members are within the main image and are evidently glaring into the camera. This is a good example and uses a combination of different colours as well as the use of similar fonts throughout the front cover and the use of red font is eye-catching.

Similar to the previous editions, all four band members can be seen and each of them are looking at the camera again. 

The colour palette for this front cover is black, white and pink and doesn't follow the NME house style but is effective as the pink makes the front cover stand out.
